About Us

Appletree Oral Health Institute aims to improve pediatric oral health, & lower wait times for children’s dental treatment across the country, by training healthcare students & professionals to collaborate on preventing, diagnosing, & treating oral diseases. The focus is on reducing barriers to accessing oral health for Indigenous children, children of newcomers to Canada, children of official language minority communities, children in rural & remote communities, & children with disabilities.
